I recently paid $197 for a set of videos that really got me jazzed.
I’m not going to tell you where I got them, or even give you a
link. But, I’ll be sharing things I learned with you as we go along.

Last time, I told you about making an article on Ezinearticles.com.
If you did that right away, you probably have an article approved
and ready for people to read.

Today, I’m going to describe how to take advantage of Squidoo.com.

First, you need to get a good list of keywords. For instance, lets
use the Home Decor - Floor Coverings article and see what we can do
with it. First, go to the Google Keywords tool:

See if you can get a good list of keywords here. Try putting in
carpeting in the first box. What you want to find is a keyword with
not much green in the box just to the right of the keyword and a
good number in the searches column. You may need to pick one of the
keywords and feed it back into the tool to get more specific results.

You will want to make sure the ‘Estimated Avg. CPC’ is showing.

Take a look at ‘outdoor carpet’. In my search, the average CPC is
$2.43 which means that it has some good value for the traffic. Note
that the serch volume is going down, which means it is probably a
seasonal demand - which makes sense. But, it could still be a good
keyword to nail and hold until the demand picks up again.

Now consider combining ‘outdoor carpet’ with some other keywords to
maximize your effectiveness. ‘Indoor outdoor carpeting’ and
‘outdoor carpet tiles’ are also good. So, consider using ‘indoor
outdoor carpet tiles’ as your key phrase.

Copy the whole list of keywords as you will want to use them later.

Now, get a copy of the article and make a title using your keyword.
Also, see where you can substitute that keyword into the article.

Note: If you are using SENuke, try to make some spinnable
variations of the keyword in the title and also place the keyword
throughout the variations:

Now, use the email you made last week and create a free account at
Squidoo.com. Use the title of your article in the ‘My lens is
about:’ box. Then pick ‘I just want to do my own thing’. Put in the
title in ‘Lens Title’ the URL would be ‘title’ without spaces or
substituting _ for the space. Up to you. Home and Garden would be
Category.

Put in 3 of the keywords from your list where you can. Then, in the
main page, click the Edit button next to the Introduction,
Contents… and put in your article here. You will want to put your
links to your money page in several places.

You can add other modules here as well. But the main thing you will
want to do is put in as many keywords as you can in the Tags area.
Click the Edit button next to Tags and then insert them. It will
let you enter a total of 30 or so.

Once you are done, click the ‘Publish’ button.
